Section 01
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using any part of the Ranksector platform, including the website, dashboard, API, browser extensions, and any embedded tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any additional policies referenced within them. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Ranksector OU. If you do not agree to any provision, you must stop using the service immediately and cancel any open subscription. Continued use after a posted revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may introduce new features, integrations, or sub-services, each of which is governed by these Terms unless separately noted. Supplementary terms, where they exist, prevail only to the extent of direct conflict with this document.
Section 02
Your Account
To use Ranksector you must create an account using a valid email address or an approved single-sign-on provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized by you or not. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication on the settings page.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract in your jurisdiction. Accounts registered with false information, scraped email lists, or disposable addresses may be suspended without notice. One individual may operate multiple workspaces, but sharing a single paid seat across multiple humans is not permitted.
You agree to promptly notify hi@ranksector.com of any unauthorized access or suspected breach of account security.
Section 03
Subscription & Billing
Ranksector is offered on a recurring subscription basis. When you subscribe, you authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your designated payment method the then-current plan fee, plus any applicable taxes, on each renewal date until you cancel. Renewal cycles match the billing interval you selected at checkout: monthly or annual.
Prices are listed in United States dollars unless otherwise displayed. If your card is declined, we will retry the charge up to three times over seven days. Sustained failure results in the workspace entering a read-only state until a valid payment method is provided.
We may change published prices with at least thirty days of notice. Price changes never apply retroactively to paid periods already invoiced.
Section 04
Free Trial
New workspaces receive a three-day free trial of the paid plan selected at signup. No charge is made during the trial window, and no card is required for the first day. If you add a card, the trial automatically converts into a paid subscription at the end of day three.
Trial accounts may be limited in publishing volume, backlink participation, and API throughput. Ranksector reserves the right to shorten, extend, or revoke a trial for users who appear to be abusing the promotion through repeat signups, disposable domains, or automated account creation.
Only one free trial is available per business entity. Additional trials require written approval and are considered at our discretion.
Section 05
Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page inside the dashboard. Cancellation stops the next renewal and your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate partial months.
We offer refunds within fourteen days of the first paid charge, no questions asked, provided the workspace has not exceeded five published articles. After that window, payments become non-refundable except where mandated by applicable consumer-protection law or an explicit written agreement from our team.
Annual plans receive a pro-rata refund if cancelled within the first thirty days. After thirty days, annual plans remain active through the committed term but do not renew.
Section 06
Use of Service
You agree to use Ranksector only for lawful purposes that align with standard commercial SEO and content marketing practice. You will not upload malware, scrape the platform, evade rate limits, reverse-engineer the underlying models, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any workspace other than your own.
You will not use the service to produce content that promotes hate, harassment, child exploitation, weapons of mass destruction, medical misinformation presented as clinical advice, or material that infringes third-party rights. We reserve the right to suspend workspaces that publish such material while we investigate.
Automated usage through the API must respect posted concurrency and rate limits. Repeated violations may result in API keys being revoked.
Section 07
User Content
You retain ownership of any text, URLs, brand assets, product data, and customer information you submit to Ranksector (“User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transform, and deliver that User Content for the purpose of operating the service on your behalf.
You represent that you have all necessary rights, consents, and permissions to provide the User Content and that our use of it will not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity right. You agree to indemnify Ranksector against claims arising from content you supply.
On account deletion, User Content is purged from production systems within thirty days and from encrypted backups within ninety days.
Section 08
Intellectual Property
Ranksector, the wordmark, the dashboard interface, the prompt libraries, the ranking models, the documentation, and all underlying source code are the exclusive property of Ranksector OU and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and trade-secret law across every jurisdiction in which we operate.
Output content generated by the platform on your behalf is assigned to you as the commissioning party, provided your account is in good standing. This assignment does not grant you any rights in the underlying models, training data, templates, or the aggregated signal data derived from your workspace.
You may not remove copyright or attribution notices from any Ranksector property without prior written permission.
Section 09
Third-Party Integrations
Ranksector connects with third-party platforms including WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Ghost, Framer, Notion, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and others. These integrations are provided for convenience and require you to hold a valid account with the relevant third party, subject to that party’s own terms.
We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or changes in behavior of any third-party service. If a platform deprecates an API, we will make reasonable efforts to maintain parity but cannot guarantee continuity. You authorize Ranksector to exchange data with connected platforms strictly for the purpose of performing the workspace’s configured automations.
Revoking an integration from within the Ranksector dashboard terminates that data exchange immediately.
Section 10
Disclaimers
Ranksector is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we invest significantly in uptime, quality, and accuracy, we make no warranty that published articles will rank in any specific position, on any specific timeline, or in any specific geography. Search-engine ranking is determined by third parties whose algorithms change without notice.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, free from harmful code, or that it will meet every expectation or business objective you have for it. All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Any statistical or projected-outcome figures presented in marketing are historical aggregates, not guarantees.
Section 11
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Ranksector, its officers, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost traffic, lost rankings, or reputational harm, even where we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, will not exceed the amount you paid to Ranksector in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you in full.
Section 12
Governing Law
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or related to them or to the service, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and Ranksector agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tallinn, Estonia for any matter not subject to arbitration.
If you reside in a jurisdiction whose consumer-protection laws grant non-waivable rights, nothing in this section limits those rights. Where arbitration is not available, any action must be commenced within one year after the cause of action arises.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to hi@ranksector.com. We read every message.
